The terms that govern your use of the Rog customer app to find, book, and pay for EV charging.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Rog customer application and services for finding, booking, and paying for EV charging (the “Services”), operated by Rog from Rog — Headquarters, Coonoor, The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, India. By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Customer Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
Rog operates a platform that connects EV drivers with charging points offered by independent hosts, and provides discovery, booking, metering, and payment. Charging is delivered at host sites using their equipment. Rog does not guarantee the continuous availability of any particular charger, which may be affected by host actions, equipment, connectivity, power supply, or other factors.
Cancellation and refund terms for bookings and disputed sessions will be described in the app at the relevant time. If you are charged incorrectly due to a verified metering or system error, we will correct it or refund the difference. Refunds, where due, are made to the original payment method within a reasonable period.
You agree not to misuse the Services, including by: damaging or tampering with chargers or sites; using equipment unsafely; attempting to bypass metering or payment; occupying a charger beyond permitted time; providing false information; infringing others’ rights; or breaching any law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Host sites are operated by independent parties and may have their own rules, opening hours, and access conditions. You agree to respect site rules and the property of hosts and others. Rog is not responsible for the acts or omissions of hosts, though we work to maintain quality and reliability across the network.
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rog disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss arising from charger unavailability, delays, or third-party acts. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Where permitted, Rog’s total aggregate liability relating to the Services is limited to the amounts you paid to Rog for the sessions giving rise to the claim in the three months before it arose. The Services, including the Rog name, logo, the “Rog current” branding, software, and content, are owned by Rog or its licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works except as permitted by law.
You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the network and its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as payment, liability, and dispute terms) will continue to apply.
We may update the Services and these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new date and, where changes are material, provide notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at The Nilgiris / Tamil Nadu, India shall have jurisdiction, and the parties may agree to resolve disputes by arbitration seated in Tamil Nadu under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Nothing limits your rights under consumer-protection law. (Confirm the dispute-resolution mechanism, seat, and venue with counsel.)
